We have access to regional and national acts as well as the local acts that have become the cornerstone of our business. We have secured and produced for our clients in Kansas City groups from throughout the entire country such as:

We have also booked and brought to Kansas City private shows featuring many well-known national acts including:

These types of shows have special, detailed needs since they are larger and from outside of the Kansas City Metro area. The services we provide to support these artists and to assure they deliver the optimum possible performance include:

    • Assistance to the client in reviewing, selecting and securing the act
    • Budget management
    • Contract administration with the act and/or their business agent
    • Venue coordination between staff, client and act
    • Obtaining lodging
    • Providing transportation to Kansas City
    • Providing internal transportation while in Kansas City
    • Securing appropriate staging
    • Assuring that specifications for sound and lighting are met
    • Providing back line equipment for musicians
    • Coordination of all scheduling requirements
    • Scheduling of any rehearsals and related logistics
    • Assuring that electrical needs are provided for
    • Coordination of all meals and hospitality requirements
    • Successful resolution of all other conditions of contract riders

RECORDING PRODUCTION

The Kansas City Holiday Album, released in December 1998 was an extraordinary combination of prominent Kansas City musicians which was produced and marketed as a philanthropic initiative. This project was created, developed, produced and distributed by Encore Associates. Never before had so many diverse talents in Kansas City been brought together in one united cause.

Included on the CD were performers from every aspect of our Kansas City community such as Ida McBeth, Shooting Star, Tim Whitmer, Marcus Allen, Tim Grunhard, Kimble Anders, Kokomo, Michael Beers, The Boulevard Brass, Mike Murphy, Danny Cox, Neon Blue and the Deliverance Temple Choir, Pat Morrissey, The Trilogy Big Band and Measure By Measure.
The Kansas City Holiday Album of 1998 enjoyed broad airplay during the holiday season, raised a large sum of money for charity, received high critical acclaim and reviews and was recognized as a most innovative civic achievement. It was our pleasure and privilege at Encore to be associated with all the fine and caring professionals who helped to make the project a grand success!

MANAGEMENT SERVICES

At Encore, we lead, assist and support management of the musical acts, the engagements they play and the clients we serve. Although we don't have exclusive management of any group (because we feel that is better ultimately left to the group itself), we have been instrumental in bringing bands such as Kokomo, Neon Blue, Karen Davis and NEO'B and now Hot House to the private event marketplace. We continue to support refinement of all the acts to better serve our clients.

We also help clients to better manage their specific engagements, projects, budgets, etc. We continuously propose alternatives, help assess production, edit plans and make recommendations to yield the most successful events. We manage events on a proactive basis from the front end by effective planning and respond on a reactive basis during actual events. When appropriate, we are on-site from the beginning to the end - in fact, we've managed major events as far away as Santa Fe, New Mexico. The end result is a perfect performance and more importantly, a 100% satisfied client!
